About Me
I am a Senior QA Engineer and Test Consultant with over a decade of experience in ensuring the quality of complex systems. My career is built on a foundation of Physics and Astronomy (MSc), which fuels my analytical approach to software testing and technical problem-solving. 

What I Do My true passion lies where testing meets technology. I don't just find bugs; I build the technical foundations that allow teams to maintain high quality at scale. Whether it’s architecting end-to-end test suites using Robot Framework and Playwright or implementing unit testing strategies in PEGA environments, I thrive on "the difficult stuff". 

My Approach: The "Working Foreman" I believe in leading by example. In my recent roles at major organizations like Rabobank, de Volksbank, and LVNL, I’ve acted as a technical mentor. I set up the initial framework and infrastructure, then gradually empower the team to take ownership, providing continuous support and knowledge sharing along the way.

Key Project Achievements

• Rabobank | QA Strategy & Automation (PEGA): Defined and implemented a department-wide test strategy for PEGA-based life event systems. Built an end-to-end validation framework using Robot Framework and mentored developers in adopting unit testing through dedicated knowledge sessions.
• Coop Supermarkten | E-commerce Transformation: Spearheaded the quality assurance for a new Progressive Web App (PWA) and mobile apps. Developed a flexible automated test suite in FitNesse capable of handling complex, fluctuating data across multiple decoupled systems.
• NVWA | CI/CD Integration: Restructured the Agile testing process and implemented an automated suite (Selenium/FitNesse) that became a core component of the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
• Toshiba | Scalable Automation: Took full ownership of the test automation suite, expanding its scope and coverage significantly. This allowed the team to transition from manual regression testing to a fully automated approach for critical modules.
• Openbaar Ministerie (DVOM) | Technical Leadership: Served as Senior Test Lead within Scrum teams for the primary prosecution application. Managed offshore automation teams (HP QFT) and guided the organization through the transition from Waterfall to Agile.
• Rijkswaterstaat | Risk-Based Testing: Managed quality for mission-critical applications by implementing automated regression tests using Selenium and Serenity for technical message traffic.
